Pasta Dishes Are Quick & Easy To Make

Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients


1 Packet Spaghetti
1 Packet Bolognese Mix
1 Tin Tomato and Onion
1 Green Pepper
2 Onions Small (1 Large)
1 tablespoon Oregano 

500 g lean Mince
2 Tablespoons Beef and Onion Soup
2 Tablespoons oil for Spaghetti Pot
2 tablespoons oil for Mince
1 Tablespoon salt for spaghetti water
1000 ml Water to boil Spaghetti in

Method:

Put on a pot of water with 2 tablespoons oil and 1 tablespoon of salt.
This water will be to boil the spaghetti in.

Chop Onions fairly coarsely
 (See Photo Below)


Onions can be chopped by hand.

Ideally on a wooden or Plastic Chopping Board
(This is kinder to your knives)

A food Processor is quicker and easier












Do Same with Green Pepper, saute in oil till onions are brown.
Add Mince and stir with large 
fork (long tines)  till well separated and brown
Add Tin of Tomato & Onion also add tablespoon Oregano  (See Photo below) 


Tips

Olive Oil works best for Italian Dishes

Stir mince with:
fork that has long tines,
prevents mince from forming lumps






Stir well, bring to boil, add Packet Bolognese Mix

 





using the tin
add 400 ml of water 


add Soup simmer for 15 -25 Min








Add a Spaghetti to Boiling water cook till al dente

(If you cook pasta or a vegetable until it is al dente, you cook it just long enough so that it is neither hard nor soft but is firm and slightly chewy.)


Serve Mince on top of Spaghetti 

Optional:
Top with Cheese Sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese
