Picked Fish My Moms Favorite Dish

Ingredients
500 g Fish
4 Onions (Large)
2 Dessert Spoons Curry
powder
1 Dessert Spoon Cornflower
½ Bottle Vinegar (325
ml)
1 Teaspoon Sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste
7 Bay
leaves
1 Tablespoon Pepper Corns
A little water to boil
onions
Method
Cut up the onions and cook in a little water till tender.
Heat
together vinegar, curry powder, cornflour, sugar, salt and
pepper.
Add Bay leaves and Pepper corns
Bring to the boil…
Reduce heat to simmer.
Lay pieces of fish in the boiling mixture
and layer with spoonfuls of the onion.
Let it simmer for 10
minutes with cover on pot, until fish is cooked.
Serve Hot or
cold
