Croutons
Ingredients
4 slices of bread
Frying Fat / Oil
Method
Cut slices of bread, about 1cm (10mm) thick (Unless you are using pre-sliced)
Slice them down into fingers same width as the thickness, then turn them,
Cut into cubes. Having a pan of frying fat or cooking oil ready, and when a slight
haze rises from it, drop the cubes into it, a few at a time, fry till golden brown.
They should brown in about two minutes. Drain on Kitchen Paper (Paper Towel)
Keep Hot until ready to use
